July 14, 2025 — Footings Complete!
The footings have been poured and form boards have been stripped and cleaned, setting up for stem wall construction. Thank you to all the hands and hearts who volunteered to help expedite progress on the new church foundation!
July 26, 2025 — Stem Walls Complete!
The stem walls are now in place, and the gravel base is being carefully prepared for the next big milestone: pouring the slab foundation. It’s a blessing to witness steady progress as this space takes shape — a space that will one day welcome worship, fellowship, and service. We’re deeply thankful for the many hands and hearts contributing along the way. Your faith in this shared vision is building more than just walls — it’s laying a foundation for ministry and community for years to come.
August 15, 2025 — Slab Foundation Complete!
The slab foundation has been poured, and the crew is moving into the next exciting stage: framing the narthex and sanctuary. Our hope is to get this portion far enough along before the fall rains arrive. In addition, the fire retention pond and septic system have been installed, with only finishing touches remaining. A heartfelt thank-you to all the crew and volunteers whose time and energy continue to bless this project and help bring our new church home to life!
September 2025 — Framing Underway
The fire water pond and outdoor system have been installed. Construction has now moved into framing the kitchen/dining and sunday school wings, which will provide cover for the larger task of framing the narthex and sanctuary. Site prep / grading is in progress as the site looks very different than it did just a few months ago.
We are deeply grateful to the construction crew and all the volunteers whose dedication and service continue to move this project forward.
October 2025 — Trusses
Trusses are being installed and framing continues throughout the building. The parking lot grading and landscaping areas — including the detention pond — are also taking shape. It’s inspiring to see steady progress each week!
November 2025 — Framing Progress Continues
Framing of the Sunday School and Kitchen/Dining/Baby Room wings is moving forward steadily, with current efforts focused on getting these areas dried in. Once enclosed, the crew will shift to the more complex framing of the narthex and sanctuary.

January 2026 — Narthex & Sanctuary Framing Underway
The more complex framing of the narthex and sanctuary is making good progress. Major beams have been assembled and are now being set in place, paving the way for final framing in these key areas.
We’re especially thankful for the stretch of good weather — and the timing of it — which has allowed this work to move forward smoothly. We give thanks for God’s faithful provision and timing, and we’re encouraged as this space continues to take shape as a place for worship, fellowship, and discipleship.
February 2026 — Narthex & Sanctuary Nearing Dry-In
The more complex framing of the narthex and sanctuary is nearly complete. Major beams are now in place, and roofing with the weather-barrier system has been installed. As framing wraps up, the plumbing, HVAC, and electrical trades will begin their work throughout the building.
We’re thankful the good stretch of weather held out — it truly made a difference for the project. And we are deeply grateful for the continued prayers and volunteer support; they have been felt and are making an impact as we move forward with confidence and hope.
March 2026 — Building Dried In & Interior Work Advancing
The building is now dried in, with most windows installed, and significant progress is being made by the trades. Fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and low-voltage systems (including audio/video) are all actively moving forward. Exterior porches and outdoor areas are also nearing completion in framing.
Next up, the covered entry area at the front will take shape. As the trades complete their work, walls will begin to close in, followed by drywall installation and the transition into finish work — including trim, doors, and other interior details that will bring the space to life.
Over the coming month, we expect continued momentum as rough-in work wraps up, inspections are completed, and visible interior progress accelerates. We’re thankful for how smoothly things are coming together and grateful for the many hands, prayers, and support that continue to carry this project forward. With steady progress, we look ahead with anticipation toward completion later this summer.
April 2026 —Moving Toward Interior Finishes
The trades have made excellent progress over the past several weeks, with fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and low-voltage systems advancing well. Exterior porches and other necessary interior and exterior framing work continues to finalize.
Next, insulation will be installed and interior walls will begin to close in, followed by drywall hanging, taping, and initial finishing. As we move through the coming month, inspections will be completed, and more of the building’s interior will start to take shape — bringing us closer to the final stages of trim, paint, and fixtures.
We’re very thankful for the continued support, hard work, and prayers that have carried this project forward. As we approach finish work, there will be opportunities to help with tasks like sanding and painting — if you’re interested and haven’t signed up yet, we’d love to have you join in!
May 2026 — Roofing Volunteers Bless the Project as Interior Finishes Take Shape
The project continues to move forward in exciting ways! Insulation has been installed, drywall is now hung throughout much of the building, and both interior and exterior finishing work are steadily advancing. Beams are being sanded and prepared, adding warmth and character as the spaces begin to truly come together.
We are especially grateful for the volunteer roofing crew that traveled to Oregon from across the nation to help put on the roof. Their hard work, sacrifice, and spirit of fellowship were an incredible blessing and encouragement to everyone involved.
Over the coming weeks, drywall finishing, painting, trim work, doors, cabinetry, lighting, flooring, and final fixture installation will occur as the building moves toward completion. It is exciting to see the many individual pieces starting to come together into a finished space ready for worship, fellowship, and ministry.
We remain deeply thankful for the volunteers, prayers, and support that have carried this project forward, and we are looking ahead to worshipping in this facility.
June 2026 — Finishing Work Accelerates as Completion Draws Near
With our anticipated completion date approaching, work throughout the building is advancing at a steady pace. Drywall finishing, painting, trim installation, doors, exterior brickwork, and surrounding site excavation are all progressing well. There is still much to accomplish in a relatively short period of time, and we remain thankful for the many volunteers who continue to serve. There are still opportunities to help with upcoming finish work, and we encourage anyone who would like to participate to sign up.
Over the coming weeks, flooring, cabinetry, ceilings, lighting, hardware, audio/video systems, final electrical and plumbing fixtures, parking areas, sidewalks, landscaping, and the many finishing details that prepare a building for occupancy will continue to come together. Each completed task brings us one step closer to opening the doors for worship and fellowship.
We are also grateful for our newly appointed office holders who are already investing countless hours to ensure the many details beyond construction are thoughtfully prepared, helping the church be ready for worship from the very first day.
As we near the finish line, we are reminded that this project has always been about more than constructing a building. Working together with joy, generosity, and a shared purpose is itself a testimony. One of our neighbors recently shared how encouraged they were after witnessing volunteers from across the country come together to install the roof. We pray that the same spirit of unity, service, and Christian love will continue to bless our community for many years to come.
July 2026 — Final Details Coming Together
The project continues to make excellent progress as the finishing stages move into full swing. Staining, exterior flatwork, interior finishes, and trade finishing are all well underway. Audio/video system installation has begun, cabinetry is being installed, and many of the final interior details are coming together. We were also excited to receive delivery of the sanctuary pews, giving a glimpse of the worship space as it will soon be enjoyed.
Looking ahead, work will continue with fencing around the fire pond, landscaping and curbing in preparation for the parking lot asphalt, siding, final staining and painting, ceiling finishes, and the installation of interior and exterior lighting. Final fixture installation, system testing, inspections, and punch-list items will continue as the building steadily moves toward completion.
It is encouraging to see months of planning, prayer, and hard work becoming a finished home for our church family. We are deeply thankful for everyone who has contributed their time, talents, prayers, and support along the way. We look forward to seeing this facility become a place where God is worshiped, friendships are strengthened, children grow in faith, and our community experiences Christ's love for generations to come.
August 2026 — The Final Stretch!
Finishing touches are showing up everywhere, and it is exciting to see the building transforming into a place that is nearly ready for use! Some ceilings, rooms, and other areas are already being cleaned as construction finishes and they are prepared for occupancy. Exterior siding is going on, parking lot curbing is being installed, and asphalt and initial site preparation for landscaping will follow.
Inside, the various trades and systems are completing their work room by room, with lighting, A/V, finishes, fixtures, controls, and countless final details coming together. There is still plenty to accomplish, and we are especially thankful for the volunteers who are diving in wherever needed to help us meet a very tight schedule.
Our focus now is on completing everything necessary for occupancy and having a safe, functional facility ready for worship. We know every finishing touch may not be complete on our first worship day, and some work will continue afterward — but what a blessing that first day will be!
After so much prayer, planning, giving, volunteering, and working together, we look forward with gratitude and joy to gathering for worship in our new church home and seeing how God will use it to bless our church family and community for years to come.
